Suggested Beers to try at New Level Brewing.
IPA - Milkshake
This beer breaks most of the rules we learned in beer school: it’s hazy, it’s sweet, and it doesn’t fit neatly into a style category--but, damn, is it ever delicious. Huge flavour without the intensity of an IPA; pillowy soft with a mouthfeel that can only be described as voluptuous. Even those who claim not to like IPAs will love this beer.
Stout - Imperial / Double
Pale Ale - New England / Hazy
Day One Dry-Hopped and Double Dry-Hopped=a juicy bouquet of mosaic. Super hazy. All the Hail the Haze Lord!
Sour - Fruited
Brewed in collaboration with the homies at Revival Brewcade, we made a hazy, heavily hopped wort that was kettle-soured with pure lactobacillus for 48 hours. We then put 300 kg of raspberries (and even more hops) into the kettle. A little lactose add body and sweetness to balance this intensely sour creation. Sweet, sour, fruity, and beautiful.
Blonde / Golden Ale - Other
A blonde so bad ass that we named it after the Viking warriors. We designed this beer to appeal to craft beer newbies and the hardcore elite. With a lighter IBU and medium malt profile, the Berserker can be sessioned like you wouldn’t believe. Flavourful and complex for craft beer lovers and approachable for all palettes.
Sour - Other
The beer that's bright green and tastes just like it looks. Definitely not for purists, it bursts with the freshest blue raspberries that we can find. It's liquid candy. It's liquid fun. It's the Green Demon that haunts Alberta's brewing industry.
Sour - Fruited
Key lime pie kettle sour. The Sorceress is loaded with lime, coriander, cinnamon, vanilla and or course...lactose!
Stout - Russian Imperial
Bold and formidable, the Leviathan packages deep, dark flavours with a full mouthfeel. Some roast flavours, coffee undertones, a hint of caramel and a viscous mouthfeel. It’s heavy, but sessionable for those who believe in themselves.
Spiced / Herbed Beer
Designed to be the beer version of the delicious Mexican beverage. Sweet and full bodied with loads of cinnamon.
IPA - American
Forget trying to make an approachable IPA. We brew Reaper’s Choice for Alberta’s hop fiends. Unapologetically West Coast. High ABV. High IBU. Dank and piney. The Reaper comes ripping.
Stout - Imperial / Double Milk
Infused with lactose, cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg, on a malt bill that’s heavy on the roast and chocolate, it’s holiday treat that’ll delight the most miserable grinch.
Lager - American
Albertan base-malt is blended with select European specialty malts for a dry, crisp finish with light body and high clarity. Very lightly hopped with Magnum, Hallertau Blanc, and Saaz for a gentle yet complex aroma and flavour. Ridiculously easy drinking.
IPA - Milkshake
Even wizards need to go on vacation.
Sour - Other
Brewed with the homies at Boogie's Burgers, it's a Dill Pickle Sour. Be sure to check it in on Untappd and write "I hate pickles".
Sour - Fruited
Orange Creamsicle Sour
Porter - American
It’s cool to drink hazy IPAs and golden coloured blondes, but sometimes you need to let your darker side out. Just a little bit. That’s why we brewed this porter. Hints of chocolate and stone fruit with a slightly roasted finish. Smooth mouthfeel. Lightly dry hopped with Willamette.
Stout - Other
A chocolate stout conditioned on two additions of raspberries and cocoa nibs. Rich and smooth. Nice raspberry jaminess on top of dark chocolate.
Sour - Fruited
A collaboration brew with '88 Brewing.
Stout - Imperial / Double Milk
Peanut Butter and Strawberry Jam Stout. 8% 50IBU. A thick milk stout conditioned on jars of actual peanut butter and strawberry jam. Just like the after school snacks you used to eat when you were a young hesher.
IPA - Milkshake
It's a beer. But, it's also Kombucha. It's sweet, but it's also tangy. It's immense flavour, but it's insanely crushable.
