Blacksmith

Brown Ale - American Keep a sturdy grip on this hand-wrought ale. It is an alloy of premium two-row Alberta barley, roasted to a black malt and infused with quantities of potent, bitter hops. Stalwart and bold, it will douse the coal-fired thirst, slake the spirit and clear the soot from the teeth.

Wit

Wheat Beer - Witbier / Blanche White Wheat Ale Despite its name, this is serious brew, unsuited to tawdry puns. It is a finely crafted, unfiltered wheat ale in the Belgian tradition, the colour of straw with a delicate white haze, crisp flavours accented with orange zest and coriander. It is a classic. So get into Wit.

Blonde

Blonde / Golden Ale - Other Village Blonde Ale has been brewed in conformance to the beer style characteristics and have a rich golden blonde colour. The beer has a crisp, dry palate, with a hint of, but not overpowering sweetness from the 2 Row malt. There is a definite hop aroma and a positive bitterness to balance the malt flavours. As with all good ales, there will be a hint of fruity esters to round out the finish. The higher end gravity will result in a beer with medium body, good mouth feel and the perception of a full strength beer, while remaining easy to drink to the most discriminating palates.

Hidden Talent

Kölsch Hidden Talent is a malt-forward, crispy beer with locally collected honey sweetness balanced by the bitterness of noble hops. This Kölsch was fermented at lower temperatures to create a smooth and clean beer. The aroma and flavour are reminiscent of walking through a lavender field whilst honeybees peacefully buzz around you.

Nomad

IPA - American The Nomad leads us to an oasis, a place where bright malts shimmer like a hazy mirage. The colour of sun bleached straw where cool. Fragrant hops conjure scents of peach and mango, citrus and pine Have we found a piece of paradise? Heaven knows where a Nomad goes.

Squeeze

Fruit Beer The Village Squeeze is balanced with light additions of lemon zest and fresh raspberries. It has sweet malty notes and herbal hop aroma. It is a beer first and foremost, with subtle compliments from the fruit.

Phobia (10.5%)

Stout - Imperial / Double An imperial stout that boasts an incredibly rich profile and strikes the perfect balance between bold malts and hops. Coffee, chocolate, and dark fruits can all be found in this imperial stout, accompanied by a boozy warmth.

Monk

Porter - Other The first frost heralds the arrival of the Monk, a jolly, black brew with a stout body borne of copious chocolate and caramel malts. If you are a genial soul, the Monk will sing you ancient notes of cardamom and clove, ginger and fennel, mint and peppercorn. Amen.

Binge Watch

Pale Ale - New Zealand Binge Watch is our Kiwi love child—stacked with hops hailing from New Zealand: Enigma, Simcoe and Nelson Sauvin. Together they create a dank hop profile with notes of grapefruit, pine, and white wine. Couple this with Escarpment Labs Hydra Yeast and the barley, wheat, and oats trifecta for a silky-smooth mouthfeel and juicy punch that balances your NZ hop experience. At only 4.5% ABV, it’s crushable like your favourite sitcom. What are you Binge Watching?

Phobia

Porter - American Take a sip of the darkness and find solitude from your deepest fears. At 6.6% ABV, Phobia wraps you in a warm blanket — comforting you with layers of malt that create a smooth, full-bodied ale loaded with notes of dark chocolate, traces of warm biscuits, and a hint of creamy honey. We added just enough hops to balance the rich malt with subtle bitterness. Arachnophobia, Ophidiophobia, Trypanophobia. These may make your skin crawl but they’re no match for this Robust Porter.

Cider

Cider - Sweet The Village Apple Cider blends the sweet, tart and refreshingly crisp flavour of apples with subtle notes of pear and earl grey tea. Smooth, semi-dry and balanced this all-natural hard apple cider will get you straight through those hot summer days.

CR*FT Easy-Going Pale Ale

Non-Alcoholic Beer - Pale Ale CR*FT Pale Ale has a hoppy nose and delights the palette with the full flavour of sweet Alberta Caramel Malt and hops with a hint of citrus zest. It has the characteristic mild bitterness of a craft pale ale. This easy-going pale ale has a light refreshing mouthfeel and body.

Misheard Lyric

IPA - New England / Hazy This juicy New England IPA is packed with ripe mango, guava and sweet citrus flavour and aroma. A super hazy brew with subtle sweetness from Alberta malt that balances a well-rounded hop bitterness.

Pet Peeve

Pilsner - Italian Our Italian Pilsner is the last thing to get on your nerves. Pet Peeve is light-bodied and clean like a Pilsner should be. Dry hopping with a variety of noble hops reveals a pleasant bitterness to an otherwise malt-forward profile. Lush, and unapologetic. Available exclusively in our Chatterbox Variety Pack. Life’s too short to sweat the small stuff (like your Uncle who chews too loud), drink Village instead.

CR*FT Velvety Stout

Non-Alcoholic Beer - Porter / Stout CR*FT Stout is silky and smooth with bold chocolate and coffee notes. English Roasted Barley provides a lavish mouthfeel and deep colour. Hops provide balanced bitterness while cocoa adds a rounded dimension.

CR*FT Crispy Blonde Ale

Non-Alcoholic Beer - Other This golden ale is crispy, dry and balanced with a slight fresh-baked biscuit finish reminiscent of Honeycomb and bread. Lightly hopped and malt-forward, this Blonde ale is refreshingly well-balanced.

Wanderlust

IPA - White / Wheat Pineapple and tropical fruit characteristics (from the hops), with cardamom and coriander spices all mixed in with spicy Belgian yeast character in the aroma. A substantial body is supplied by the oats which provides a backdrop to showcase fruit forward American and Australian hops.

Weekend Ritual

Brown Ale - American Our take on a Brown Ale with cinnamon, spice, and everything nice (nutmeg). Layered with caramel and chocolate malt and topped with Good Stuff Maple Syrup — like a delicious stack of french toast on Christmas morning. It’s dark, malty, and sweet, with more warmth than a full-body snowsuit on a cold winter day.

Super Power

IPA - Cold Let this small-batch Cold IPA tantalize your tastebuds and unlock your inner Super Power. We utilized a biotransformation followed by a traditional dry hop to accentuate flavours of fresh grapefruit and juicy mango, complemented by a citrusy aroma. You’ll find this beer refreshingly bitter with a light, crisp body packed full of delicious fruit flavours. It’s easily crushable but the 6.5% ABV will leave you feeling like you have Super Powers in no time.

Alter Ego

Pale Ale - New England / Hazy At first glance, this mysteriously hazy liquid could be mistaken for juice, yet it possesses a personality much deeper than one could imagine—the elusive Hazy NEPA. Alter Ego is Village Brewery’s juicy tropical elixir. Double dry-hopping this NEPA induces ripe aromas of passionfruit and tangerine that are accentuated with a little help from Foggy London yeast—feasting on real passionfruit puree and the addition of Galaxy hops mid-fermentation, followed by Riwaka & Mosaic. Highly juiced up with low bitterness wrapped in a luscious, fuzzy mouthfeel. It’s within all of us to find our true Alter Ego. What’s yours?

Tropical Cider (Pineapple, Mango, Guava)

Cider - Other Fruit Sweet aroma of tropical fruit, mainly pineapple is noticeable but decently balanced. This semi-dry cider has natural fruit sweetness, gentle guava and mango flavour accented by the slightly tart pineapple. High carbonation gives a crisp mouthfeel and bright fruit flavours. Overall a tasty medley of fruits designed for summer days in the hot sun. Your new crush. Super fresh and just sweet enough.
